I Love you, I’m Going To Blow Up Your School

Ahhh the majestic, glacial soundscapes which can only be derived from Post-rock... one of my favourite genres at the moment.

I'm usually OBSESSED with lyrics... decoding/self applications etc but lately artists like God is an Astronaut, Gospeed you! Black Emperor and Mono are the ones dominating my listening habits.

Anyway, I AM SO FUCKING EXCITED ABOUT THE NEW MOGWAI ALBUM!!

"The Hawk Is Howling" is the 6th studio album by Stuart Braithwaite & Dominic Aitchison (who decided to name their band after the creatures in the horror flick Gremlins)

Here is the track listing. I have to admit I'm a little surprised they actually stuck with this album name. I like the song titles though.

So far the boys have leaked The Sun Smells Too Loud and I love it.

It's more uplifting. More synthy. More electro-esque.

A lovely sound that still sparkles with uniqueness and imaginative audacity.
